Cinema is something whose riches could satisfy lifetimes of discussion; I started this blog to get in on the dialogue while I still can. A little about myself: I’m currently a senior at the University of Rochester pursuing a double degree in Film & Media Studies and Brain & Cognitive Sciences. My hero is the late Roger Ebert – his writing was what got me started in film criticism, and I highly recommend Ebert’s memoir Life, Itself as well as the 2014 documentary of the same name. Some other writers I admire: Matt Zoller Seitz of rogerebert.com, Manohla Dargis and A.O. Scott of the NY Times, David Ehrlich of IndieWire, Wesley Morris of Grantland, and The A.V. Club and The Film Stage in general.
If you need to contact me, I can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy my blog, and please comment away on my posts! We each have but one life to talk about film, so let’s get to it.
